Assuring the Quality of Interpretations

Our primary objective is to ensure the quality of every exam our radiologists read. All mammography studies are read by U.S. based, Board-Certified radiologists with many years of experience in reading and interpreting mammography.

R2 CAD Technology

To deliver an even higher level of certainty regarding the interpretation, our radiologists utilize Computer-aided Detection (CAD). The R2 CAD software identifies features on medical images and brings them to the attention of the radiologist to minimize false negative interpretations. Radiologists review the mammogram images, then activate the CAD software and reexamine any marked areas before issuing the final report. Clinical trials have shown that use of the ImageChecker system can result in earlier detection of up to 23.4% of cancers currently detected with screening mammography in those women who had a prior screening mammogram nine to 24 months earlier.
